Nice hotel. Beautiful village. But easier to find a Gucci bag to buy than a bottle of water;)
The staff and especially reception , alway helpful and service minded.
In the room I was missing iron/ iron board. Also a full length mirror could be nice in a 4star hotel… I had a large balcony with two chairs, but no table which could be nice. Bathrobe in the room could also be nice. Also something to hang your towels/ wet bathing clothes on could be useful at a beach hotel… This is also not a good place to go as a single traveler. The whole beach is private, and costs 150-250euro/day and this includes beach beds for 2-3 persons. There’s a public beach about 2km away, but there’s no toilets or restaurant. It’s also hard to find a supermarket in this village, if you don’t have a car. So even water is hard to get if you don’t want to pay 2-4euro at the hotel.. Overall the hotel in my point of view is overpriced. But super nice staff and helpful :) But Forte dei Marmi is not for anyone traveling alone.
